But what kind of effective slimming treatment should you offer them?
There are many solutions on the market for slimming and firming the figure. It is not always easy to choose a cost-effective device that also meets the needs of your customers. We review the slimming devices that act on fat deposits, cellulite, orange peel appearance, loss of firmness, muscle wasting, and poor lymphatic circulation.
Effective techniques for slimming and firming the figure.
1. Cryolipolysis to destroy and eliminate fat

Cryolipolysis is a non-invasive dermo-aesthetic treatment for the body, with effective and permanent results. This technique uses the properties of cold to destroy fat. Indeed, fat cells or adipocytes are mainly made up of fatty acids that are particularly sensitive to cold. Cryolipolysis will crystallize these cells (called adipocytes), in order to trigger their apoptosis, i.e. their programmed death. This technique is the only non-invasive and effective solution to get rid of localized fat and lose volume.
In practice :
A cryolipolysis session exposes the areas to be treated to intensive cooling for one hour. During the session, part of the fat is directly attacked. This fat is then eliminated within a few days by the lymphatic system. The rest will be gradually eliminated in 6 to 8 weeks by our body naturally.
Results :
Cryolipolysis allows a reduction of up to 30% of the localized fat after 1 to 2 sessions. The first results are visible in 9 out of 10 clients.
20% of the final result is observed after 15 days.
80% of the final result is visible after 2 months.
For an optimal result, you will recommend a second session to your client. This second approach will reach the deeper layers of the fat tissue. The fat reduction will be faster.
Treatment areas :
With cryolipolysis you can treat many areas of the body: the abdomen, love handles, inner and outer thighs, saddlebags, back, and even the arms.
Advantages :
Cryolipolysis is a very profitable treatment. It helps to build customer loyalty thanks to the 2 sessions required for an optimal result. Moreover, satisfied clients do not hesitate to come back for results on other areas of the body.
Cryolipolysis is a hands-free technique. Apart from the wipes, this treatment does not require the purchase of other consumables.
Cryolipolysis is the only non-invasive technique that can compete with liposuction.
This aesthetic treatment is particularly effective.
Disadvantages :
Cryolipolysis, like all dermo-aesthetic treatments, has some contraindications and cannot be proposed without a diagnosis and anamnesis beforehand.
This treatment will have optimal results if your client has a disciplined lifestyle. Candidates for cryolipolysis should maintain their weight in order to keep the benefits of this treatment in the long term.
2. Lipocavitation :

This is a slimming technique using ultrasound. The ultrasounds act directly on the fat cells. The ultrasound vibrates them until they implode. A few weeks after the treatment, these reduced cells are eliminated naturally by the body.
Results :
Reduction of 1 to 1.5 cm from the 1st session
Up to 40% reduction in fat volume
Up to 50% reduction of the orange peel appearance
Global remodeling of the silhouette
Reduction of water retention
Treatment areas :
Lipocavitation is perfect for shaping the body and treating specific areas such as the waist, saddlebags, thighs, buttocks, legs, and arms.
Advantages :
Lipocavitation gives excellent results on all types of cellulite (adipose, aqueous and fibrous).
Another advantage is that it can be used on all areas of the body where there are fatty deposits.
A cost-effective treatment, lipocavitation sessions can be sold as a cure and facilitate loyalty.
Disadvantages :
Like radiofrequency, this treatment requires an investment on the part of clients to maintain results over the long term. A balanced diet, the practice of sport... must be followed to maintain the effects.
3.Muscle toning and sculpting with electro-muscular stimulation - EMT/EMS

Electromuscular stimulation, also known as EMT, uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic waves to stimulate the muscles of the body while facilitating the elimination of fat. Electromagnetic pulses are sent to the muscle fibers. Extremely dense muscle contractions are produced. Exposing the muscles to these contractions leads to muscle strengthening and fat elimination, over the course of sessions and weeks. Muscle electro-stimulation devices help to build muscle quickly.
Principle :
EMT is a hands-free device. Two applicators are placed and attached to the area to be treated with a strap. An EMT session lasts 30 minutes. During the session, the client feels a slight tingling sensation associated with a contraction effect.
Treatment areas :
EMT can be used on different parts of the body that need to be muscled and/or tightened: abdominals, buttocks, arms, back, and thighs.
Results :
Muscles, tones, and refines
Loss of localized fat
Increases the resting metabolism
A session of EMT waves allows to gain 19% of muscles and lose 20% of fat
EMT sculpts and shapes the body effortlessly
1 EMT session is equivalent to 20,000 squats or crunches
Painless
Advantages :
Results are visible quickly.
No preparation is necessary.
This hands-free device requires no additional accessories or products.
For your clients, the EMT allows them to work all the muscles of the body without going to the gym.
Disadvantages :
Your client must be disciplined about her diet to maintain results.
